About our Campus
Named 'Rangitāne Tikaraina ki te Mātauranga' by mana whenua Rangitāne, our name partly translates to 'straight pathway to education'.
Nestled in the city's heart, close to cafes, bus stops, and Te Marae o Hine (The Square), UCOL Manawatū blends historic buildings with modern facilities.

We welcome you to visit and chat with our friendly Information Centre team. We have both on-site car parking and a cafe.
Parking
Care Park manage parking on the Manawatū Campus on behalf of UCOL.
Parking is managed via licence plate recognition cameras.
Visitors can park for free for 30 minutes on Queen Street outside Block 6. If you are going to be on campus for over 30 minutes you can park for $2 all-day in the carparks located on Grey Street, Queen Street, and Princess Street.
Pay via the kiosk located within the building, or via the QR code on the signage located in the carpark. Make sure you display your Mobility Card if you're parking in a mobility space.
Free bus transport
UCOL ākonga can use Horizons' Palmerston North/Feilding buses for free, just show the driver your student ID card.
