Advice And Guidance
In New Zealand all people who engage in prescribed electrical work, must be registered or covered by the provisions under the Electricity Act 1992, or the Electricity (Safety) Regulations 2010.
UCOL provides courses to prepare learners in obtaining these certificates. It is necessary for a learner to pass a theory examination and to be assessed in a number of practical skills as set out by the Electrical Workers Registration Board. However, you must complete 18 months practical training requirements to gain the full qualification.
This page is for people enrolling on the Electrical Appliance Serviceperson (EAS) course and exam.
Electrical Workers Registration Board Examinations
