U-Skills STAR Plumbing

As plumbers are the pros who install the systems to ensure homes have fresh water for showers, toilets flush, and sinks and tubs drain, they are highly sort after!

This course comprises 4 credits.

Unit Standard 25414 (Level 2) (2 credits)

Cut and join sheet metal for plumbing and gasfitting components.

A fully equipped plumbing workshop and access to digital learning.

For year 11 - 13 secondary school learners (NZ citizens, permanent residents or learners with an applicable visa allowing them to be enrolled in a secondary school).

Successful completion of the UCOL STAR Plumbing course is the first step in a journey. Equipped with new skills and a taste for the industry, you will know what you need to do to pursue a career in the plumbing, gas fitting and/or drain laying field. The UCOL STAR Plumbing course is part of a suite of programmes offered by UCOL to secondary learners seeking to explore their career options while still in school.
